Lauren Clark is 22 years old and just recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an Elementary Education major. She was born in Washington, PA but was raised in Raleigh, NC. She is very excited about her volunteer experience this year in the Bronx. Lauren is teaching art to K–2 students and Spanish to middle-schoolers at St. Nicholas of Tolentine School. Though she has experience with teaching elementary-aged students, these subjects will be very challenging and interesting for her. She feels like she will learn so much more from her students and roommates than she could ever teach them. After this year Lauren’s options for teaching are limitless!
