Bekah Coleman, 22, is the daughter of Bill and Terry Coleman and has two siblings, Rachel and Will. She grew up in New Castle, Delaware and attended the University of Delaware, where she graduated with a BS in exercise science: biomechanics. Bekah will be serving at Siena House in Bronx, NY. She enjoys playing sports, traveling, and adventure. She is also happily addicted to coffee!

Education. I think good education is invaluable and the fact that some children receive a poor one or get no education at all is tragic.

Best AV Moment, thus far
So far, my job at the Siena House has been amazing. Figuring out my role at the shelter, meeting the women and children who live there, and helping the people who run Siena House has been pretty cool.
What are you most excited about in the new city you're living in?
I love walking around the different NYC neighborhoods and getting a feel for the people who live there and finding some good cheap eats!
